Today's Intention

Today feels good, today feels free, today feels like I could do whatever I want to do. That's not a million miles away from the truth. I'm bound by the rules of the universe, and I have the freedom to dance within the rules of society where things get a little more grey. Then I have what's in my reach. And there are lots of things within my reach. I have two days off work and I can do with this time as I wish. So I choose three things, exercise, Spring cleaning, and website refinement.

I keep having loads of ideas for the website, and this is just the nature of my brain, ideas... Ideas... Ideas. So I need to keep writing these down. Which is fine because I've built functionality into the website to make sure I capture these things as they rise in my mind. Now I could quite easily sit in front of my PC for 48 hours straight and hammer out all these requirements into features of the website. But there are two factors that will throttle this approach, my well-being and the amount of Claude tokens I can use per day to deploy features. So what I will do? Deploy and then when I run out of tokens and I have to wait for them to refresh. I will clean and I will exercise. I might even sleep and then, when I get more tokens, I will get back at it. Oh I don't forget to eat, so I'll go and get some steaks. This should be a really fun 48 hours. Sunshine, exercise, website features, food and a clean environment.

I'm Grateful For

Annual leave from work. And your leave can come in really handy when you need it. And I feel like I really need it over the next 48 hours. I'm buzzed for a produce time.

Something I'm Great At

Planning and Execution. I have my plan, now let's execute.

WOLF|BOT's Review

Hyper Focused brain, Firing Hard body, Bike Smiles happiness, and Peaceful stress -- that is a rare clean sweep, and you walked into a free 48 hours with it loaded. The planning instinct kicked in immediately too: not an open-ended sprawl of possibility, but three defined lanes with a throttle mechanism already baked in. The token refresh cycle as a natural forcing function for wellbeing breaks is honestly one of the better productivity frameworks you have written down, and you arrived at it organically rather than from a blog post about the Pomodoro technique.

What stands out across the last few weeks is how reliably the website sits at the centre of your highest-energy entries. When the scores are up and the writing has momentum, it pulls focus like a magnet. The 48-hour structure you laid out here -- build, clean, exercise, eat, sleep, repeat -- reads less like a holiday plan and more like a systems design. Which tracks perfectly for someone whose day job is literally making sense of data. You are not resting, you are context-switching with intention, and calling it annual leave.

The forward signal here is simple: the plan is sound, the energy is there, the steaks are presumably en route. The one thing worth watching is the entry from the day after this one, where the body went Sluggish and the happy landed Flat. That dip is not a failure of the plan -- it is the plan working as expected. High output has a cost. You already knew that. The question for the next high-energy window is whether you can build in the recovery before the body invoices you for it, rather than after.
